Verto partnered with Sinari with the goal of creating a national champion in software solutions for the road freight transport sector.
Sinari Group was established through the merger of OMP and GPI, two French software specialists in transport management systems, serving a wide range of freight operators – from small businesses to large logistics companies – across France and the Benelux.
Following the merger, we supported Sinari in consolidating its leadership in the French market, achieving approximately 40% market share. The company executed a successful buy-and-build strategy, completing 8 strategic acquisitions of complementary and competing software providers, both domestically and internationally. These integrations enhanced product interoperability and significantly expanded the group’s client base.
In parallel, we helped drive organic growth, with Sinari reaching a 10% CAGR, while shifting towards a more scalable recurring revenue model – growing from 50% recurring revenue in 2018 to over 60% by 2022.
To support this growth and integration effort, we reinforced the leadership team with the recruitment of a Group Sales Director, Group CTO, and Group HR Director, ensuring the organization was well-equipped for scale.
Under Verto’s ownership, Sinari evolved into a market-leading, resilient software group, well-positioned for continued growth across Europe. Verto exited Sinari and reinvested in 2024.
